It may be October, but prepare your plate for a colorful fiesta, courtesy of Chef Cat New at The Clean Plate in San Antonio. These plump Poblano Peppers are carefully roasted over an open flame and stuffed with green zucchinis and yellow squash, topped with melted pepper-jack cheese! The best BBQ wines are big and full of fruit. Zinfandels are a classic pairing, but I found a few red blends that rock with ribs. Take a little of this, a little of that, and you have some of the best tasting red wines for fall! The Alexander Valley Vineyards Lot C is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
