Our four-year-old daughter Karen discovered the cat in the neighborhood, apparently abandoned, and named him Tiger. We were in the process of moving from Kentucky to Southeast Georgia, and were feeling a bit guilty that our kids had to leave family and friends, schools and church buddies, to relocate to a place they had never seen. So when Karen asked sweetly, "Can we bring Tiger?" we agreed reluctantly. Tiger adapted well to the new surroundings and even gained some weight.
