Luckily, this year, gig workers have already arrived, en masse â as if dispatched from the North Pole itself â to rescue consumers from holiday stressors like gift wrapping, light hanging and even toy assembly. Some are even gigging as Santas â though itâs the season's least lucrative temp job.
