Home to just a few thousand people, coronavirus cases in the area surged to among the worst in Scotland after Christmas. Mass vaccination centres open doors Meanwhile, mass vaccination centres have opened in Scotland today. The facilities, in Edinburgh and Aberdeen, will have the capacity to vaccinate thousands of people a week from Covid-19.
