| ARTThe Game Changers expands viewers’ appreciation of prints in CAM’s permanent collection with the generous inclusion of works by Frankenthaler, Diebenkorn, and Rauschenberg from renowned American museum and arts institutions including: Akron Art Museum, Art Bridges, Cincinnati Art Museum, Des Moines Art Center, Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University, North Carolina Museum of Art, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and the Weatherspoon Art Museum. |

We Belong Here: The Gutierrez Collection is the first public exhibition of a collection of contemporary art built over the past decade by North Carolina based collectors, Onay Gutierrez and Jeff Childers.
This exhibition features over 40 works by over 40 international contemporary artists including Tunji Adeniyi-Jones, Jerrell Gibbs, JeffreyGibson, Ayana Jackson, HayvKahraman, Kaws, Jun Kaneko, David LaChapelle, Beverly McIver, ZaneleMuholi, Carmen Neely, Zohra Opoku, Angel Otero, Maia Cruz Palileo, Tavares Strachan, Mickalene Thomas, and Kehinde Wiley among many others. |

Elisabeth Chant
Elisabeth Chant (February 7, 2025 – April 27, 2025) North Carolina artist Elisabeth Chant (1865-1947) made an indelible mark on Wilmington’s art community. She became known for her vibrant landscapes and scenes of the North Carolina coast. Chant also created decorative designs and explored mysticism and spiritual themes, which informed her artistic style. She was instrumental in developing Wilmington’s cultural landscape, founding art classes, mentoring young artists, and establishing a community art association. This exhibition explores the people and landscapes of Chant’s world. |

LONG POSE FIGURE PAINTING Instructor: Sheri Farley For the artist desiring a longer pose to complete their paintings! Paint a costumed model, full or partially draped. Enjoy a facilitated workshop with a different female model each day. Paint a single pose for the entire day, or two with each model. | STORIES WE CARRY: VETERANS WRITING WORKSHOP Instructor: Dina Greenberg There is nothing more powerful or more sacred than the Stories We Carry. In this six-week narrative/visual art workshop for military veterans, we will use in-class writing prompts to bring your stories to the forefront. Students will also learn the art of Shodõ, an ancient form of Japanese calligraphy, through writing and calligraphy, the course encourages participants to explore their interior life, forge connections in this small-group, as well as with our community at large.
