| This week's cat is Rio! She loves going on adventures with her doggo sidekick, Bruce. You can find them camping and exploring in the mountains of Colorado. (I am very jealous of their lifestyle!) "While writing Always Day One, my just-released book about the tech giants' inner workings, I spent long stretches alone in Seattle reporting on Amazon and Microsoft. While there, my main companion was Lady, a lovely cat who I watched while her owners went on vacation. Lady was a great friend, loved to spend time scratching herself on my laptop and standing on my notes, and she taught me that a pet companion can help dull the pain of isolation.
