| | On wealth, equity and reinvestment After months of collecting data, researching and reporting Technical.ly is launching a new, data-driven reporting series today on wealth, race and economic mobility. Called "Who makes $200K?" it includes data on high-income earners for cities around the country, and interviews with professionals across Technical.ly's markets. In the Baltimore story we published today (read it below), there's a juxtaposition: While Baltimore’s population fell over the last decade, there was an uptick of Black high-income earners in the city. We talked to some of them, and found that these professionals see potential for Baltimore to have as high a profile as contemporaries along the East Coast like DC, Philly and New York, while rising in a way that learns lessons from those cities.
